The beginning of the O'Toole (Toole) line starts with John Toole and Catherine Williams in Dublin South. The father of John is thought to be named Joseph. The mother, according to the birth certificate of John Joseph, is named Margaret - no maiden name is given. There is no information , as yet, on the Williams' side of the family.
They had a son, John Joseph, Sr.; who was born on 3 Feb 1865 in Dublin at home, as was the custom of the day. They lived at 3 Albert Court in Dublin, Ireland. My records indicate they also had a son named William, but at this juncture, I have no confirmation of that. Supposedly, he was born on 13 May 1867 in Dublin.
